I called Jonas Heating & Cooling because of their 5 star reviews, and previous reviewers certainly got it right. The three men arrived on time, and my new American Standard (made in U. S. A.) HVAC unit was installed that afternoon! I really admire guys who know what they’re doing, and I enjoyed watched them perform. Ed Kronk, the boss, actually talked me out of spending more money on a higher priced unit! He explained why, at my age, I would never recoup the cost. Honesty, competence, reliability, and value all help describe Jonas heating and cooling.
Ed at Jonas heating was great. Very knowledgeable. Replaced our kerosene heater within a week. Good price great service. definitely would use them again.
These guys were great. We called to get a quote on having HVAC installed in our new-to-us house. Currently, we only have a wood stove for heat and portable a/c for cooling which I didn’t feel was going to cut it, plus the PGE cost, yikes!
Ed, the owner, answered and was able to get out to take a look at our house the same afternoon. He had bids for mini splits and traditional HVAC to me that evening. The price was right on the Mitsubishi (top of the line) mini-splits and Jonas offered great financing packages. They were out a week after the financing was buttoned up and completed the installation of 3 heads, wiring, etc. in about half a day. Ed and his team were courteous, thorough, and they guarantee their work. Plus the mini splits have a 12 year parts and 5 year labor warranty. Overall, I would highly recommend Jonas Heating and Cooling. It was a really great experience as first time homebuyers having our first completed home improvement project.

“Professional, Prompt and Helpful. Ed and Robbin the owners are very easy to work with and very helpful when you the customer are trying to make decisions. I was looking at updating my heating system to include air conditioning a couple of years ago. When I was describing my issues to Ed who came out to give the bid he advised me of a possible different solution to my problem. Cooling a upstairs bedroom that gets a lot of sun and hot in the summer time. He suggested the Mitsubishi Mr Slim that allows me to just heat and cool that one room rather then waste electricty or propane to cool the rest of the house that did not need it. After purchasing this system and saving myself a few thousand dollars I was more then pleased and impressed with the system they recommended and I got a tax rebate.
“After two years of loving the system in my upstairs bedroom I found out I needed to fix or replace the central heat for the downstairs. I went back to Jonas and Ed gave me the suggestion of putting Mr Slim in each room that way each room could be controlled seperately for heat and cool thus saving on electricity when other rooms don’t need to be heated or cooled.
